Maritime English, Anytime, Anywhere

The Eugenides Foundation's Maritime English Platform for cadets and officers of the Merchant Marine

A Longstanding Commitment to Maritime Education

Since 1958, the Eugenides Foundation has played an active role in advancing maritime education, supporting generations of seafarers through a wide range of educational initiatives.

Its long-standing contribution includes the publication of hundreds of maritime textbooks, donations to Merchant Marine Academies, scholarships for graduates of the Hellenic Coast Guard Academy, and the organization of studies, conferences, and educational events.

Building on this legacy and its commitment to lifelong learning, the Eugenides Foundation has developed the Maritime English Platform, an online learning initiative designed to make Maritime English education accessible to seafarers worldwide.

Through the platform, seafarers can independently develop and strengthen their Maritime English skills, learning at their own pace, anytime and anywhere. By promoting effective communication in the international maritime environment, the Maritime English Platform aims to contribute to safer operations at sea and successful maritime careers.
